What is the BA.2 Variant, What are its Symptoms?
What is the BA.2 variant called the 'Hidden Omicron' variant that scientists have detected? What are the symptoms of the BA.2 variant?

It has been announced that the BA.2 variant, known as the mutated version of Omicron, has been detected in 40 countries.
BA.2, which is quite difficult to understand in tests, is therefore also called “Hidden Omicron“.
It has been suggested that the Hidden Omicron, which has been scientifically proven to be more contagious, may have the ability to infect much faster or evade immunity more.
WHAT IS THE BA.2 VARIANT?
BA.2 is a sub-generation of the original Omicron – BA.1, but it was found to have some differences that could make it both faster to spread and harder to detect.
There is no major structural difference between Omicron and BA.2, but the biggest challenge the new variant poses to scientists is that it doesn’t show up in current tests.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF THE BA.2 VARIANT?
No new symptoms have yet been identified for the BA.2 variant. Since the variant in question is a sub-lineage of Omicron, similar Omicron symptoms were found to occur.
Among the symptoms of BA.2, it can be said that fatigue, cough, runny or stuffy nose and sore throat are seen.
Dr Andy Pekosz, from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, said in a statement about BA.2, “Another thing we know about Omicron is that the symptoms are different from other variants. Omicron does not have the most common loss of smell in Covid-19. More cough and sore throat are among the symptoms of Omicron”.
